I have 25 years experience as an HR Director and in general management, in organisations employing from 600 to 11,000 staff. I have managed turn-rounds and led strategic and operational change in health, manufacturing, education and local government.

I base my work on wide ranging research into how good people management drives bottom line success. I have researched with HR academics and practitioners to develop my ground-breaking people management model which any organisation can use to drive up results through effective people management. See downloads for a summary of the model. My forthcoming book describes how people management drives organisational performance.

I speak frequently on how people management drives the bottom line, and facilitate the Cambridge HR Directors’ Forum, a group of senior professionals who share ideas and experience on how people management drives business success. I have extensive experience of chairing joint management staff forums and of leading for the management side, improving productivity by building joint solutions based on strong relationships.

I have Masters degrees in HR and management, plus an Oxford undergraduate degree.

All of this means that I can help and guide, mentor and support any organisation to build bottom line performance. I bring clear strategic thinking, a wealth of experience and extensive research knowledge to all my assignments.
